The Case IH 400 Series 3 Skid Steer loaders are designed for long life with powerful, efficient engines that deliver increased horsepower and torque. Eight models range from 57 to 83 hp. They are powered by four-cylinder turbocharged Case engines. Case says 100 per cent of engine power is delivered to the hydraulic pumps and components by coupling the hydrostatic drive pumps directly to the engine flywheel, giving you more power when you need it.
Case IH recommends the 410, 420, 430, 440 or 450 for pushing or digging work, such as feedlot scraping. For lift-and-carry jobs such as loading manure into a spreader or placing items on trailers, the vertical-lift models, 435, 445 and 465 are better suited.
