Challenger RHB and FHB Series Auger Headers
Challenger offers the FHB Series flex header and an RHB Series rigid header in sizes that go from 20 feet all the way up to 35 feet. These heads have curved reel arms with a fine reel height
adjustment, plus hydraulic reel drive with automatic control and a large 30-inch full-finger conveyor auger. This auger is enhanced with deep seven-inch flighting to enhance crop movement.
For a faster and smoother inline cut of grain — and also to minimize vibration and wear — Challenger also has a SCH epicyclic drive to reduces back and forth movement.

These Challenger grain heads have an orbital reel option, which according to the company allows for a closer path of the fingers. This is said to increase the flow of material from the cutter bar to the auger by reducing the dead spot not cleaned by traditional reels.
Case IH 2010 Grain and 2020 Flex Heads
Case IH’s 2010 Rigid-Auger and Flexible-Auger grain head incorporate an innovative floor profile to enhance crop flow and improve feeding into the combine. The Rigid-Auger heads are offered in 20-, 25-and 30-foot lengths, while the 2020 Flexible-Auger lineup adds a 35-foot model as well.
The 2010 Grain and 2020 Flex Heads feature a large 26-inch floating auger with a stainless steel auger trough for increased durability. There is a single hydraulic connection for fast header hookups. The 2020 Flex Head has 4.5 inches of overall flex throughout the knife.
Case IH also features their “Over-serrated Sta-Sharp” knife sections, engineered for strong cutting performance. These heads are designed and engineered to cut low and flex with the terrain, making the harvest job much easier.
