New Holland offers up two models in its new TD 5000 series, the TD 5030 with 76 engine hp and the TD5050 with 90 hp. New Holland says the series boosts productivity with proven engine reliability and efficient modern design. The four-cylinder, 195-cu.-in. New Holland F5C engine on the TD5030 and the 274-cu.-in. New Holland NEF engine on the TD5050 deliver smooth, responsive power and are turbocharged and intercooled for maximum performance and fuel efficiency. With a torque rise of up to 44 per cent, the company says the tractors give ample lugging power to pull through tough soil conditions, climb steep grades or run hay and harvesting equipment efficiently in heavy crop conditions.

The TD5000 series tractors feature a standard 12×12 synchronized transmission, which matches the equal number of forward and reverse gears with a dedicated, synchronized mechanical shuttle. This enables a true shuttle shift transmission for quick direction changes and easier loader work. An optional 20×12 creeper transmission gives you two additional ranges of creep gears, with six gears below one m. p.h. for precise control during low-speed applications.

TD5000 tractors can be ordered with or without a factory-installed cab. If you go for the cab, it comes standard with air conditioning and heating, a deluxe suspension seat, tilt steering wheel and tool box.
