New Holland builds the heavy-duty S1050 and S1070 field sprayers with 1,000-and 1,600-gallon options, plus a choice of suspended or wheeled booms. According to the company, these sprayers provide dependable performance, accurate spraying, and excellent load stability even in bumpy, varied field conditions. The S1050 has a capacity of 1,000 gallons with suspended- boom choices at 80, 90 and 100 feet. The S1070 has a capacity of 1,600 gallons with six suspended-boom choices from 80 to 134 feet. The S1070 also is available in 12 wheeled-boom widths from 80 to 134 feet.
The New Holland field sprayers have powder-coated paint on a heavy four-inch by 10-inch frame. An optional windscreen on the boom can reduce drift 86 per cent versus an open boom.
The S1000 series has the latest electronic monitoring equipment for height control (Norac) and boom control (Raven). Four different hydraulic pump options are available to match the tractor’s hydraulics and specific spray applications.
