McCormick offers three CX models, ranging from 83 to 102 hp. The CX line is equipped with new Tier 3-compliant Perkins 1104D series turbo engines which according to McCormick provide exceptional power and torque levels.
The CX models come in two versions, the Synchro shuttle and the Xtrashift. The Synchro shuttle features a mechanical transmission which provides eight forward and eight reverse speeds, or 16×8 when fitted with the two-speed powershift. The Xtrashift model features an electronically controlled transmission with three-speed powershift, power shuttle and an optional creep transmission giving the operator a total of 36 forward and 36 reverse gears.
The front axle with a 55-degree steering angle features an electro-hydraulically-controlled four-wheel drive and differential lock with push-button control. The PTO is also engaged electronically with two speeds, 540/750 or 540/1,000 r.p.m. for maximum versatility.
