Massey Ferguson says its 8600 series, which features four models starting with the 8650 at 205 hp and topping out with the 8680 at 275 hp, is technologically advanced and exceptionally responsive, but also simple to operate.

According to the company, the new 8600 series panoramic cab is the largest, roomiest, quietest and most technologically advanced in the industry. It has one-third more interior space than its predecessor and has achieved a sound rating of just 71 db. The new four-post design with its wide, curved glass provides a 360-degree view and there is an optional low-frequency, super-deluxe seat with internal heating. There s even a solar panel on top of the cab to compensate for natural battery loss.

These 8600 Series tractors are powered by the new 8.4-litre Agco SISU Power engine. Equipped with Electronic Engine Management 3 (EE M3), these engines maintain maximum torque between 1,185 and 1,550 r.p.m. and can deliver constant power down to 1,570 r.p.m. to handle the toughest jobs. The engines work in conjunction with the Dyna-VT transmissions to ensure performance. A waste gate turbocharger with air-to-air intercooling ensures optimum inlet manifold pressure and more efficient burn, and the four valves per cylinder provide a better fuel/air mixture for optimum fuel combustion, translating into lower emissions and longer engine life. www.masseyferguson.com
