The 8600 Series from Massey Ferguson includes the 8650, 8660, 8670 and the 8680, ranging from 205 to 275 hp. These tractors are powered by an 8.4-litre AGCO SISU engine and they feature the Dyna-VT transmission. Massey Ferguson claims the largest, roomiest cab in its class, plus the quietest cab interior sound rating.
The 8600 Series features the new Dynamic Tractor Management system (DTM) coupled with the Dyna-VT transmission. When DTM is activated, the operator can set both the engine speed and transmission ratio for automatic control, allowing the engine to run at lower speeds and reduce fuel consumption.
The 8600 Series heavy-duty front axles feature large final drives which have the muscle to handle larger draft loads and weight. A quad-link suspended front axle system is optional and can cut vibration by 50 per cent.
