Fendt has long had a reputation as a premium tractor, especially in Europe. The Fendt 818 and 820 Vario mid-range tractors possess the performance of high-horsepower tractors with the manoeuverability and visibility of a midsize track. According to Fendt, these models offer further premium-class standard equipment such as a tractor management system, TMS land management system, Variotronic, and the integral front power lift, which are all standard.

Fendt offers the Variostick, letting the operator accelerate the 800 Vario from standstill to the desired speed steplessly. It also works in the opposite direction where the tractor decelerates without crawler or groups of gears. Fendt maintains this adds up to superior productivity with these tractors because of fuel efficency combined with the savings in operating time over the life of the tractor.

The six-cylinder Fendt tractors come standard with a flange PTO that lets the operator quickly switch between PTO profiles. You can also choose the optional front PTO, which offers excellent efficiency because it is directly driven from the engine crankshaft. As well, high-tech features such as Fendt Auto-Guide can help the operator with satellite guidance through the field. www.fendt.com
