The new Fendt 800 Vario comes in five models, starting in this category with the 819 at 200 hp and topping out with the 828 at 280 hp. Fendt says these new Vario tractors set higher standards with the x5 comfort cab, the completely new electronics and controls, and with the first AdBlue (32 per cent urea solution) engine technology to comply with Tier 4 emission standards. Fendt has revamped its tractor electronics into one terminal available in three different configurations on the Vario 800. The Power version has a seven-inch Varioterminal, the Profiversion an optional 10.4-inch terminal and the Profi Plus version has a 10.4-inch terminal which operates several different operating applications.

Fendt says it has 100,000 Vario continuously variable transmissions in operation, creating expertise farmers can rely on. The stepless Vario transmission can adjust speed from 20 metres per hour to 60 km/h. This gives operators the ability to select the ideal speed for every operation. The entire “Vario” technology is synced and controlled through the Varioterminal. Unique to Fendt is a front PTO, two hydraulic connections in the front, and EPC rear and front linkage. www.fendt.com
