Palm says its Treo 750 Smartphone “goes where you go.” The Treo 750 combines a world GSM phone, e-mail, broadband wireless and Windows Mobile 6 to give a powerful package in your hand. According to Palm, you can review and edit business documents, handle your calls and manage your contacts, calendar and many other tasks. You’ll be able, for instance, to examine your fertilizer invoices e-mailed straight to the field.
Palm would enhance that by taking advantage of Microsoft’s Direct Push Technology, which syncs with Outlook and your other contacts within seconds. Palm has also made several other “Palm enhancements” to the Windows Mobile OS to enhance its functionality, and it lets you take advantage of thousands of third-party software applications available for the Treo 750. With enhanced picture, video camera and music features, you can even use the Treo 750 to extend its broadband speed to your laptop.
