We’ve all experienced the frustration. You need to see something in a tough spot. There’s an internal valve that needs adjusting or a clamp that needs tightening, or you need to know if a line is gummed up. But how can you see it without pulling your machine apart?
Video Borescopes from A & I Products might be your answer. A & I Products at Louisville offered a lineup of new, reliable, affordable and easy-to-use video borescopes, which essentially can go where you can’t to show you what’s there.

A & I says that most video borescope systems have probes which are eight to 10 mm in diameter. These systems are relatively inexpensive, but don’t always allow you to get into smaller areas such as an injector hole on an engine. The probes on the A & I borescopes range from 5.5 to seven mm making them very versatile to get into the smallest crack.
A & I offers four different video borscopes, some with wireless capability. For instance the A-VBW2455 has a 3.5-inch wireless colour monitor, a one-metre-long 5.5-mm-diameter probe. It transmits either wirelessly or direct and is capable of capturing photos or video with an SD card included. The video can also be viewed on a television monitor.
