WINNIPEG, April 10 (CNS) – The CEO of Volkswagen could be on his way out. Reports indicate the German-based automaker wants to replace current leader Matthis Mueller with former BMW official Herbert Diess. Mueller has been under fire since Volkswagen was caught manipulating diesel emissions data in 2015.
The value of the Russian Ruble is falling after new U.S. sanctions were placed on a group of Russian businessmen and companies with ties to the Kremlin. On Tuesday, the Ruble hit its lowest point against the dollar and the Euro since 2016. Moscow says it plans to compensate the companies affected and considers the penalties unfair.
