– In a case of life imitating art, Ukrainian comedic-actor Volodymyr Zelenskiy is leading the presidential election race in the country after the first round of voting. Zelenskiy stars in a television show as a school teacher who unexpectedly winds up as president. He is now sitting with about 30 per cent of the votes after the first round of voting in the real election, well ahead of the incumbent Petro Poroshenko. A runoff vote will now be held.
