– Chinese economic growth slowed to its weakest pace in nearly thirty years during the past quarter, according to updated data out of the country. The gross domestic product increased by 6.2 per cent during the April to June period, which was the lowest since data started being recorded in 1992.
– Farmers in Italy are opposed to a trade deal between the European Commission and the South American Mercosur group, according to Italy’s agriculture minister.
