The Canadian Wheat Board has made its recommendations to the federal government on final payments for the 2008-09 growing season.
In its weekly newsletter Monday, the CWB said final payments will be distributed once approvals have been obtained from Ottawa.
The board’s recommendations, submitted last Wednesday to the CWB, include:
- $4.39 to $35.12 for wheat;
- $18.77 to $32.47 for durum;
- $13.57 to $15.08 for designated barley; and
- $80.15 for Pool B feed barley.
The level of final payment within each type of board grain will depend on the class and grade of wheat or barley delivered.
