WINNIPEG, July 25 (MarketsFarm) The Canadian dollar was holding steady Thursday morning.
At 8:53 CDT Thursday morning the Canadian dollar was at US$0.7619 or C$1.3125 which compares with Wednesday’s North American close of US$0.7612 or C$1.3137.
Crude oil was firmer in early activity, seeing a recovery after Wednesday’s losses.
The European Central Bank voted to keep interest rates unchanged at its latest meeting, and expects to keep rates at current levels or lower through the first half of 2020.
The TSX was weaker Thursday morning, down 48.89 points at 8:52 CDT to sit at 16,562.95.
