WINNIPEG, Aug 17 (CNS) – The Ontario government is being
sued by electric vehicle maker Tesla over the recent
cancellation of one of its programs. Tesla said it received no
reason why the Doug Ford government axed the Electric and
Hydrogen Vehicle Incentive Program, which provided rebates for
new buyers. The program was one of several green energy
initiatives that were cancelled or amended by the Ontario
government.

The economic bailout for Greece officially ends Monday. The
Mediterranean-based country was forced to ask the European Union
for help after its economy blew up in 2009. Since that time, the
country has engaged in austerity measures that have seen it
endure massive cutbacks to its public service. Greece’s debt is
pegged at 322 billion euros, much of which is owed to the
Eurozone. After Monday, no more money from the EU will be
available.
