WINNIPEG, July 30 (CNS) – A merger between Nokia and T-
Mobile is set to give the United States another giant player in
the world of telecoms. T-Mobile had already agreed to a merger
with Sprint earlier this year, as the two companies vied to
compete with larger companies Verizon and AT&T. Under the terms
of the proposed agreement, Nokia will supply T-Mobile with 5G
network equipment. The merger is pegged at US$3.5 billion.

U.S. President Donald Trump has suggested he is prepared to
impose tariffs on vehicles and auto-parts coming from Canada and
other countries. The Canadian auto sector has warned such a move

Harley Davidson has announced it will soon be selling an
electric motorcycle. The unit will be called the LiveWire and is
due out next year. The company has seen its sales sputter in
recent years and is hoping to reverse its momentum with the
rollout.
