If the dog in the back lets you peek in the window of our pickup, you’ll see a farmer s office on the go. The visor is stuffed with invoices, grain receipts, sunglasses, keys, a rent cheque waiting for delivery and a label from some vaccines.

The dash is coated with dust, pens, more bills, a couple of smushed hats and a wrench or two. The glove box overfloweth. On the seat and floor are five plastic gloves, four file folders, three sizes of belts, two jugs of oil and a recharging cell phone.

Customers tell us that they spend an awful lot of time conducting business from their trucks, so we’ve worked hard to ensure the new F-150 s interior is both functional and comfortable, says Michael Arbaugh, F-150 interior design chief.

The newly designed Ford trucks have more storage, legroom and technology. The F-series is available in three cab styles regular, Super Cab, and SuperCrew. In the every time and smells like a mixture of chicken manure, dairy cattle and grease. We re not about to get rid of it until it gives up on us. However, if we were shopping for a new pickup, I d like the extra storage and technology-smart features available on the 2009 models. After all, our truck is our office s home away from home.

Ford and Dodge have new models for 2009. Each back of the SuperCrew cab, a six-foot tall man can sit comfortably.

In both the Super and SuperCrew cabs the backseats fold up to make a fully flat load floor with quite a bit of usable space. You could actual put tool drawers or filing cabinets back there.

The Fords are the only 2009 trucks with back-hinged suicide doors in their Super Cab. Although you have to open the of the four companies we talked to is offering more space behind the seats of their regular cabs, loads of cup holders and extra recharging outlets, plus tons of new technology gadgets and storage.

On all the models you can add in hands-free phones, GPS systems and satellite radio, but be aware of monthly user fees for most of these services. Of course, you d match your engine and box requirements first but having the right storage, plug-ins and technology can help you get organized and save you a huge amount of time.

Also, in the Super Cab the central console flips up to be the back of a mini seat. Another smaller storage area is below that middle seat and extra cup holders slide out from the front of it. The through centre console is about two inches longer, large enough to stow two or more small laptop computers.
