For producers from the potato fields of P.E.I. to the vineyards of the Okanagan Valley, Kubota Canada has something to fit their needs.
“Whatever the job, Kubota has equipment that will help a farmer out with the task,” says Travis Grubb, ag product specialist with Kubota Canada.
“Kubota is with you every step of the way, from preparing your soil to harvesting your crops. Whether it be a loader tractor, a skid-steer loader or equipment to till the soil or make hay, Kubota has you covered.”
Kubota has a broad range of tractors and implements suited to many farming needs, and stands behind all its products.
“Kubota tractors and implements are sold and used every day by a wide vaariety of customers, from beef and dairy farmers, to cash crop farmers, to even peat moss operators,” Grubb says.
Seeking to expand its customer base, Kubota is opening the door to future equipment sales to customers who might have overlooked it in the past.
“With the Kverneland and Great Plains lines of equipment, we have solutions that help get the job done, regardless of how big or small a farming operation is,” Grubb says.
Kubota acquired the Kverneland group in 2012, and in 2014 introduced Kubota-branded equipment built by Kverneland.”We continue to add new products to that line of equipment every year, from tillage equipment, crop care, and hay tools,” Grubb says.
In 2016, Kubota acquired Great Plains and Land Pride. That purchase gave it an additional resource to produce more North American-centric products for both seeding and tillage applications, as well as hay tools such as the Kubota Wheel Rake line for tough raking jobs.
“Both companies built very reputable products and were a welcome addition to the Kubota-brand offering,” Grubb says. Kubota has a long legacy, having worked with farmers around the world for over a century, and in Canada for over 45 years.
Established in 1975, Kubota Canada started with just a small line of tractors. By 1977, the company added the M4000 40 hp tractor, and continued to grow its tractor and equipment lines from there all the way to the new 200HP M8 tractor.
Currently, Kubota offers its innovations and expertise through a single distribution channel — its network of dealers.
With over 130 dealers across Canada, Kubota can be found from Whitehorse, Yukon, to St. John’s, Newfoundland, and as far north as Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, to as far south as Essex, Ontario.
“We have the expertise of our field staff that are located locally throughout Canada to help dealers and customers select the correct solutions for the job at hand,” Grubb says.
