John Deere 30 Series sprayers are powered by turbocharged PowerTech Plus 6.8-litre Tier 3 diesel engines with the exception of the 325 hp 4930, which is powered by a bigger 9.0-litre engine. The 4630 has 165 HP, the 4730 has 245 hp and the 4830 has 275 hp. All of these sprayers have hydrostatic transmissions.
There are myriad features on these John Deere sprayers, including the CommandView cab design for comfort and visibility. The 4930 has a new feature called “Load Command.” This is a fully integrated solution which enables operators to load 1,200 gallons of liquid in as little as three minutes.
With the exception of the 4630, these sprayers can be installed with a high-flow liquid option where applicators can spray up to 50 gallons per acre. This is all done with one solution pump and a single set of plumbing and nozzle bodies.
